Hi, my name is Gaby Borges. Im 11 years old. My parents are from Mexico, but we live in Florida. That's why I speak both Spanish & English.

At 3 years old, I started dancing Salsa and when I was 4, I won first place, in its category, at the competition "World Salsa Federation."

Then I started to like Hip hop so I auditioned for the Miami Heat Jr Jam Dance Team. I was successful & became part of a group of kids that dance at the Miami Heat Basketball games.

At the age of 7. I started to play the guitar and joined the acadamy MDA Studios, where I learned Acting, Ballet, Jazz and Hip hop. This school opened the doors for me to start working as a Backstage Dancer for Univision (Television) in the "Sabado Gigante" and "Don Francisco Presenta" shows since 2008. I also started working in soap operas in Telemundo such as "El Rostro de Analia."

In the same year, I got first place in the category of hiphop solo at the "Star Power Talent" competition. I also started learning to sing and got called in by Univision to perform in Jingle 2008.

In 2009 I was selected to join the dance team called "The Untouchables" directed by Glenn Douglas Packard, winner of an Emmy for his artistic direction, in the 30 years Anniversary celebration of Michael Jackson, in Madison Square Garden. I also auditioned and was accepted into the "Marlins Minnows." This is a group of children who dance at the Florida Marlins baseball games.

A Television channel from Mexico, "Telesur" invited me for an exclusive interview, where I told them about my achievements and performed a couple of dances from the Jr Jams and the Marlins Minnows. I also did an impersonation of Fanny Lu.

I started to perform in music videos such as "Kimbara" from the Padura girls, Sunshine "Deuce I Deuce", "Major Myjah" and more. At 9 years old, I auditioned for a music video called Bkidz. From being a dancer in the video, I signed my first musical contract with Top Stop Music, a company owned by highly recognized composer and producer Sergio George. He is the composer of the very famous song "La Negra Tiene Tumbao" interpreted by Celia Cruz and producer of artists such as Marc Anthony, Jennifer Lopez, Luis Enrique, La India etc.

In the summer of 2009, BKidz started its first promotional tour and I was interviewed by Fernando Del Rincon in the Paparazzi Radio program, in Brillan Las Estrellas (Sparkle Stars), Magazine Fame, Miami Herald, Magazine Antena, El Latino Newspaper, Univision Interactive. I also appeared on TV Programs such as Tu Desayuno Alegre, Luces Cámara Acción, Acceso Total, CNN in Spanish, News 51, Aquí Todos Ganan, Escándalo TV with Charitin, Despierta America and many others, performing the song "Ser o Parecer" from the famous Mexican group RBD (Rebelde). This is the promotional song of the Bkidz CD/DVD.

In 2009 Gaby started singing covers such as "On my own" from Les Miserables, "Viveme" from Laura Pausini, "I'm your Baby Tonight" from Whitney Houston and "Impossible" from Shontelle, generating more than one million views in her Youtube channel: http://www.youtube.com/chihuo1

Gaby Borges de 11 años de edad, hija de padres Mexicanos, residentes de la ciudad de Miami en Florida.

Desde los 3 años, Gaby empieza a bailar salsa, merengue, swing y chacha en el International Dance Studios, y a los 4 años gana primer lugar en su categoria en la competencia "World Salsa Federation".

Mas adelante Gaby entra a aprender Hip Hip, audiciona y es aceptada en "Jr Jam", el grupo de niños que bailan para los Miami Heats durante los juegos locales.

Empieza su inclinacion por los instrumentos musicales y decide empezar a tocar guitarra. A los 7 años, Gaby entra a la academia MDA Studios donde aprende, actuacion, ballet y jazz, la cual le abre las puertas para formar parte del grupo de baile de Univision, en el programa de Sabado Gigante y Don Francisco Presenta. Comienza a salir en programas de Telemundo como bailarina. Hace su aparicion en la telenovela "El Rostro de Analia".

Entra a la competencia de "Star Power Talent" y obtiene primer lugar en la categoria de Hip Hop, como solista. Empieza a aprender canto y la llaman de Univision para cantar en el Jingle del 2008.

A los 8 años de edad Gaby forma parte de "The Untouchables" un grupo de baile dirijido por Glenn Douglas Packard, ganador de un Emmy por su direccion artistica en la celebracion de los 30 años del Aniversario de Michael Jackson en el Madison Square Garden. Gaby audiciona y es aceptada en los "Marlins Minnows" el grupo de niños que bailan para los Florida Marlins.

Telesur, una televisora de Campeche, Mexico invita a Gaby a su programa donde le hacen una entrevista exclusiva y ella hace unas muestras de baile e imitacion a la artista Fanny Lu.

Empieza a salir en Videos musicales como "Kimbara" de las ninas Padura, Sunshine con "Deuce I Deuce", "Major Myjah" entre otros, y a sus 9 años audiciona para el video musical Bkidz, y al formar parte del mismo obtiene su primer contrato musical con Top Stop Music, compañia discografica del señor Sergio George, el compositor de la exitosa cancion "La negra tiene tumbao" interpretada por Celia Cruz y productor de artistas como Marc Anthony y Jennifer Lopez.

BKidz da inicio a su primera gira promocional y Gaby es entrevistada por Fernando del Rincon en el programa Paparazzi Radio, en Brillan las Estrellas, Revista Fama, El Miami Herald, Revista Antena, El Latino Newspaper, Univision Interactive, asi como tambien, sale en los programas de, Tu Desayuno Alegre, Luces Camara Accion, Acceso Total, CNN en Español, Noticias 51, Aqui Todos Ganan, Escandalo TV con Charitin, Despierta America, entre otros, interpretando la cancion "Ser o Parecer" del famoso grupo Mexicano RBD, el cual es la cancion promocional del CD/DVD de Bkidz.
